Kelly McBride: "Save the World, Tell a Story"

"A journalist is a person who chrinocles life," said Kelly McBride. In a sense, she concluded, we are all journalists.

"Simply by telling stories," she said, "you will make the world a better place."

McBride explained that if you can turn information into a story, and know how to distribute it, "you can save the world."

She talked about the following steps in writing an article:

• Bust Stereotypes
• Explain Stereotypes
• Help others like You
• Explore your own World

She concluded her presentation by saying, "You will change the world by telling stories."
