The power of black and white photos being shown through a projector in a dark room can be a powerful thing. The pictures of a mother and her child embracing one another captivated everyone in the room while the photogrpaher narrated the slideshow and commenting on the use of shadow and lighting. The emotions that the photos captured were something that could not be caught in your average colored photo. They captured the life of the people and told the stories behind their eyes, stories that were waiting to be told.
