• Close your eyes pick a random student or drop a dollar bill and the first student to pick it up you interview, you never know when someone may have an interesting story to tell
  
  
• When you interview someone take them away from their friends so they don't show off
  
  
• Find the people who have a story to tell that deals directly with issues that effect the students at your school such as racism or teen pregnancy
  
  
• Don't quote from your friends
  
  
• When interviewing someone look at things from their perspective, find what their interests are
  
  
• Use the sources that you have to their farthest extent
