Kelly Mcbride was excellent in making sure the audience understood the impact of just simply asking questions and getting your information out there.

A simple act of story telling can really make a difference.
Two high school teens working on their school newspaper noticed some suspicious looking sprinklers. They started asking questions and found out that they really were hidden cameras watching the students......How scary is that!
They did something about it and it got published in their school newspaper in the beginning of December.......By the end of the month, the story was picked up by the Boston Globe.
Their message: Don't mess in those hallways.
They made a difference just because they started asking questions and by getting their information to a larger audience.

Which is exactly what journalists do.
